The Semroc Retro-Repro U.S.S. America is a recreation of the classic Centuri Super-Kit released in 1975. Whereas the original used 18mm "Super-C" engines, this version uses a 24mm engine mount for much higher performance. Laser-cut fins and rings make assemly a snap. A full page of waterslide decals makes the model look just like the early model.
The Semroc version includes a balsa nose cone. For those who wish to model the U.S.S. America with the subtly-molded cockpit of the original, we offer the Moldin' Oldies by Sirius Rocketry version of the original nose cone here.
