The Estes E Launch Controller is what you need to launch Estes E-powered rockets. A longer, heavier launch cable keeps you at the proper safe distance from E-Powered rockets, but can be used to launch any Estes rocket. I prefer launch controllers with longer cables on the smaller rockets, as you are a little further away at launch, which allows you to enjoy the takeoff without snapping your neck up quickly as you do from a closer distance.
