Every washer, every rivet, every known detail is reproduced in a kit that faithfully replicates the Mercury capsule, retropack, and escape tower and assembles into a showcase piece that is over 2 feet tall! Complete decals, conversion tips, and instructions allow you to reproduce any of the six manned missions, including the slightly different capsule used on Alan Shepard's Freedom 7. Includes a fully detailed interior right down to the control panel molded in clear plastic with dial decals, so that you could even backlight the control panel if you were so inclined. Also includes the escape tower complete with cables and manufacturer's marking decals, and a vinyl astronaut figure complete with all the umbilicals.
Oh, yeah, the retropack is here too, complete with detailed metal retaining straps. This kit can be assembled so that the various stages of flight can be represented with detachable escape tower, retropack and other options.
