The Estes Mean Machine is a tall, impressive rocket to take out to the local field. One of the favorites of my personal collection, the original flew great on D motors. With nice, slow liftoffs and its large size, the Mean Machine is impressive at take-off and in the air. Estes has upgraded this new edition of the mean machine in two ways: First, it now takes Estes E motors, and second, it is easier to transport because of the new twist-lock connector that allows you to split the long rocket into two pieces. Great when trying to fit an over six-foot tall rocket into your trunk!
