Estes Interceptor

  • Model: EST-1250
  • Manufactured by: Estes

Ever since the "Welcome to the Real World of Space" ads that graced the rear cover of Model Rocketry Magazine, the Interceptor has been one of the signature kits that means "Estes" to just about everyone. The Interceptor was also featured on the cover of the 1971 Estes catalog, and is considered by many to be the definitive Estes kit.

Absent for many years from the Estes catalog, the Interceptor has been perhaps the most requested "bring back" from Estes, and in 2007, the Interceptor finally made a return in an improved reissue of the original. Introducing the ESTES reissue of the world renowned Interceptor model rocket!
