The placement of your order constitutes acceptance of these conditions.
We try to ship the fastest yet the most economical way possible, usually USPS Priority Mail, but also UPS, FedEx and Parcel Post, especially when "dimensional pricing" fees for large yet light packages make it more economical to ship standard ground. Motors and certain materials must go ground only (Parcel Post and in the case of certain motors FedEx Ground Hazmat) and can take additional time for delivery and can only be delivered within the 48 continental US States. Orders containing motors and/or other items subject to FedEx Hazmat shipping will be assessed an additional $48.00 hazmat fee in addition to the standard shipping charge.
We are a successful and growing business and order turn-around time is something we are quite proud of. We usually ship within one to two business days on average on all in-stock items. Most of our customers receive their orders in 2-5 business days, however, please allow up to 4-6 weeks for delivery. Note that orders containing rocket engines/motors and/or certain adhesives and other products must be shipped "ground only" and can take additional time for delivery.
Shipping Charges: $7.29 minimum shipping and handling charge. $10-20 total order, $7.99. $20-$40 total order, $8.99. $40-$60 total order, $10.29. $60-$90, $11.49. $90-$120, $12.59. $120-$150, 13.49. Above $150.00, 8% of order total up to $450.00, $450-$999 6% of order, $1000-$1999 4%, $2000-$5000 3%, $5000 and up 2%. Orders containing items requiring Hazmat shipping (marked HAZ or HAZMAT or similar in the online store) will be charged the ground carrier's $51.00 hazmat shipping fee at checkout time. Orders containing motors that can be shipped USPS Parcel Post can take up to several weeks for delivery but can also be delivered faster by selecting the Hazmat Shipping option. $51.00 FedEx Hazmat fee applies. HAZMAT fee is IN ADDITION to standard shipping charge and is an additional fee that FedEx imposes on HAZMAT shipments.
FREIGHT - Freight is prepaid to the lower 48 states on regular ground service or Priority Mail. We try to ship the fastest, yet most economical way possible, usually Priority Mail. We reserve the right to ship by UPS, FedEx, Priority Mail or Parcel Post or other carriers. In some cases, large and bulky packages will go by ground when dimensional pricing makes it cost-prohibitive to ship by faster means. Orders shipping to AK & HI, or to Canada will pay actual freight & insurance. On any refused package(s) the customer is responsible for outgoing and return shipping charges, including hazardous materials fees, if any. We can only ship rocket motors and all items marked HAZ or HAZMAT within the continental 48 states via surface transportation only. Please allow extra time for delivery of orders containing these items. We cannot ship motors or hazmat items to AK & HI or outside the continental US, and orders containing these items from these locations will have the items removed from the order during processsing. Orders that contain other items, but also include motors or other hazardous materials will have the entire order shipped ground, please allow extra time for ground delivery. If you wish that the non-hazmat items in your order are shipped by Priority Mail or faster means, additional shipping charges will apply, and you can contact us with this request, or you may place two seperate orders, one for the motors, and one for non-hazardous items. Orders containing all USPS Parcel Post shippable motors will be sent Parcel Post (no hazmat fee-usually 3-8 business days but allow up to six weeks for delivery). Orders containing items marked HAZ or HAZMAT will be assessed a non-refundable FedEx Hazmat fee of $51.00 per order in addition to standard shipping. The hazmat fee will be added to your order at checkout time. If you wish to recieve motor orders that contain USPS Parcel Post Shippable motors faster, you can select the Hazmat shipping option, and the order will be shipped FedEx Ground, which in most cases is faster. ($51.00 Hazmat fee applies in addition to standard shipping)
BACKORDERS - Items not in stock at the time of order will be backordered or cancelled. Any backorder less than 30 days old will be shipped without notification. Backorders over 30 days old may be cancelled upon the customer's request. Items placed on backorder are subject to price changes and additional shipping charges.
HAZARDOUS MATERIAL - Certain non USPS-shippable rocket motors and other materials marked HAZMAT must ship FedEx Hazmat and will be charged a $51.00 hazardous material fee per package. Maximum gross weight per package is 50 lbs. On any backordered hazardous material, you are responsible for the $51.00 hazardous charge. Hazardous materials cannot be shipped Parcel Post. Hazardous Materials require an adult signature for delivery. ID may be required at delivery for proof of age. In the event that the package is not delivered after the carrier's attempts or is refused, the customer will be responsible for all associated shipping charges including box charges, shipping, restocking and HazMat fee.
RETURNS - ABSOLUTELY no returns on used items, items not in resalable packaging, or without obtaining a Return Authorization "RA" number which expires 30 days after issuance. Make absolutely sure when ordering that you are ordering the correct rocket motors or Hazmat items, as due to hazardous shipping requirements these items cannot be easily shipped back to us. No returns accepted after 30 days of sale date. We do not accept returns on rocket motors, closeouts, special order products. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. A 10% + $2 restocking fee ($100 maximum) will be charged on ALL returns except those where we have made an error. This restocking fee covers credit card fees we are charged for both the original transaction and the refund, and any extra time and packaging that is used for the shipment. Any defective merchandise should be returned to the manufacturer. If you have received merchandise in error, please call 920-915-7599, or e-mail at siriusrocketry@siriusrocketry.com and we will make arrangements to correct your order. No returns accepted after 30 days from the date of invoice.
Special note on shipping Rocket motors: If your order contains motors or reloads that require "Hazmat" shipping, the FedEx HAZMAT charge will automatically be added to your cart at checkout time. DO NOT add the HAZMAT charge to your cart. If you wish to have USPS Parcel Post-shippable motors shipped faster by FedEx, then add the FedEx HAZMAT shipping item to your cart. This will apply the $51.00 Fed-Ex ground Hazmat fee to your order in addition to standard shipping and we will then ship it HAZMAT versus USPS.
USPS shippable motors will automatically be sent US Parcel Post if the Hazmat shipping option is not checked and the order does not contain any motors that must go Hazmat.
